Ivlie Godefroid

After I had bought this sampler online, I asked the lady who sold it if she could tell me anything about the origin of the sampler. Unfortunately she could not. The lady appeared to be Joke Visser. She is the author of several books about samplers (including ‘Samplers of the Low Lands’) and has published several patterns
of samplers in craft magazines.‘Ivlie Godefroid’ was published by Joke Visser in the
nineties of the last century in a Sampler-special of the craft magazine ‘Ariadne’
I have chosen to republish the sampler ‘Ivlie Godefroid’. The pattern has been recharted and the colors adjusted to my liking. I designed a number of smaller projects, so that you can enjoy this beautiful sampler in many ways.



The reproduction of the sampler, together with the patterns of the pin drum, pin cushions and needle book, are part of the new book "Ivlie Godefroid". We made a special materials page for the Ivlie Godefroid book.
