Bird on a Ladder Sampler

I recently found a cute little sampler that I thought would be perfect to share with you on this 12.5 year anniversary.
The sampler was quite faded in color, but luckily when I took it out of the frame there was still some of the original color on the back.
Nice extra: the embroidery left a perfect impression on the cardboard with which it was framed.



The sampler shows an alphabet, various crowns with initials (so I don't know which of the initials is the maker), the year and various nice motifs, including a bird on a ladder.

Fabric: 32 count or 36 count 'Affogato' by Fiber on a Whim, piece of 45 x 45 cm. Or another fabric of your choice in the color Platinum. The pattern is 124 x 127 crosses. Including 10 cm / 4 inch border all around, you need the following dimensions:

10 threads / 5 crosses per cm (25 ct): 45 x 45 cm / 18 x 18 inch
11 threads / 5.5 crosses per cm (28 ct): 43 x 43 cm / 17 x 17 inch
12.6 threads / 6.3 crosses per cm (32 ct): 40 x 40 cm / 16 x 16 inch
14 threads / 7 crosses per cm (36 ct): 38 x 38 cm / 15 x 15 inch
16 threads / 8 crosses per cm (40 ct): 36 x 36 cm / 14 x 14 inch
